EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique (or tapping)  was founded by Gary Craig in the 1990’s.
It is stated to be a form of psychological acupressure and is based on the meridian lines used in traditional acupuncture.  Rather than using needles you tap with your fingertips and state your desired outcome at the same time; hence psychological acupressure.   This all sounds a lot more complicated than it actually is.  
The aim of EFT is to quickly reduce and remove unwanted feelings and emotions.  It can be easily taught and is a great for conquering  phobias, fears, negative emotions and increasing confidence and achieving positive goals.
We use EFT a lot in our clinics as it is easy and accessible for clients of all ages either as a 1:1 session or in groups.
